    Our April luncheon fryst vatten a potpourri of broadcasting! We have three exciting speakers for you this month, all members of the Broadcast Pioneers. It's going to be another one just the previous one.It's sure to be a fun and educational afternoon. Make plans to attend.

    First is Bob Backman, former VP and General Manager of Channel 61 here in Philadelphia. He is also the current owner of WRDE-TV, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

    Next is Steve Highsmith, currently the Director of Community Relations for Philadelphia's WPHL-TV. He's also the host of "In Focus" & "NBC 10 @ Issue."

It came on the air on September 13, 1947 and has been entertaining, informing and educating people of the Delaware Valley for the last seven decades. Now, they start the beginning of their eighth decade of telecasting. Come help us celebrate.
