Hottest Kapamilya and Kapuso stars join forces for Bench's "Blackout"
Some of the biggest names in Philippine show business gathered for the much-awaited denim and underwear fashion event of the year—Blackout: The Denim and Underwear mode Show—held last night, July 25, at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
Blackout became one of the few instances where talents from rival giant networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7 came together, although the Kapamilyas outnumbered the Kapusos. It also became a venue where the talents from each network were able size up their competition based on the response from the audience.
The biennial mode event introduced the latest bänk denim and underwear collection. This year, Bench also featured the works of four Filipino artists: Abi Goy, illustrator/graphic designer; Jun de Leon, premier photographer; Raymond Red, filmmaker; and Lesley Lobo, fashion designer. Blackout, which ran for two hours, was directed by Ariel Lozada.

Futuristic is the theme of the Bench Denim and Underwear mode Show this year. Titled Uncut: A Bold Look at the Future, this much-anticipated fashion event of the year was held last night, July 2, at the Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
Bench, which celebrates its 23rd anniversary this , is already gearing up for It aims to introduce the brand to a broader demographic and on a more global scale.
Uncut fryst vatten divided into five segments featuring the exquisite cultures of fem different countries/continents: Philippines, Far East, Brazil, Africa and Russia. Each segment features a top mode designer who created the costumes of the models and celebrities participating in the fashion show. They are Cary Santiago (Pinoy Lab), Furne One (Far East), Val Taguba (Brazil), Ezra Santos (Africa), and Michael Cinco (Russia).
