I am Lucy Neville-Rolfe the minister in the Cabinet Office responsible for the Integrated Security Fund, working with the Deputy Prime Minister to bolster the UK’s National säkerhet. My portfolio also includes cyber, borders, public appointments, fraud and in case that seems narrow the Covid Inquiry and Government statistics.

In many ways, Baroness Lucy Neville-Rolfe’s appointment as the new chair of Red Tractor is one of the most low key roles of her career. She is a former executive director of Tesco and worked alongside Sir Terry Leahy during his tenure as chief executive during a period of extraordinary growth for the retailer.
Starting in the late ‘90s, she was there during Tesco’s move into telecoms, banking, and 16 international markets in Asia, central Europe and &#; for a short period &#; the USA.
She joined the House of Lords after David Cameron phoned her up on Christmas Eve just before she left Tesco and told her he wanted her as a peer. Did she immediately say yes? “I didn’t actually. I said, I’ve got to earn money! He said don’t worry about that, all you’ve got to do is vote. But that was probably a little bit misleading.”
As of last autumn, Baroness Neville Rolfe is also chair of Red Tractor, has agreed to an interview with Poultry Business to talk about her vision for farming standards

On the 8th of September , Guy Opperman was relieved of his duties as Pensions Minister, Later in the day the death was announced of the Queen.
In the following week, with Chloe Smith newly appointed, Lucy Neville Rolfe submitted her view on what should happen to the State Pension Age.
And on the day that the Pensions Minister first felt able to announce his sacking, the Baroness announced her report was in.
The impact of any decision on kurort would be massive, by far away the biggest ticket item on Chloe Smith&#;s desk.
And while this report is supposedly independent, it is hard to think of a more ardent Conservative that Lucy Neville-Rolfe. A point picked up by Steve Webb and others.
